Droylsden moved into second place in the EVO-STIK League's First Division North table after winning 2-1 at Scarborough Athletic on Tuesday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.
Boro, who were looking for a Queensgate victory to take them into the top five, broke the deadlock five minutes into the second half through their veteran and prolific marksman Gary Bradshaw. But 10 minutes later Alex Frost pulled the Bloods back on level terms and 16 minutes from time Stephen Hall won it for Dave Pace's visitors.
The only other league game on Tuesday saw Northwich Victoria move above Bamber Bridge into third place after a 1-0 win in Flixton. Former Samsung `Win a Pro Contract` winner Jack Sherratt scored the only goal for the Vics with an 83rd minute penalty.
