It was honours even in both of Tuesday's matches in the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's First Division North, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Fifth-placed Farsley AFC were held 1-1 at Throstle Nest by in-form Spennymoor Town.

Farsley broke through on 32 minutes through Adam Priestley, who played for Gibraltar against Germany recently. But sub Gavin Cogdon equalised in the 66th minute to help Moors stretch their unbeaten run to five league and cup matches.

Tuesday's other game saw play-off chasing Salford City held to a 2-2 draw by FA Cup heroes Warrington Town at Moor Lane.

Despite the Wire's cup form, they entered this game in eighteenth place in the table and fell behind to a 10th minute Sam Madeley goal for the Ammies. But Scott Metcalfe equalised in the 31st minute and then the same player put Shaun Reid`s side in front after 42 minutes. Salford then pulled back on level terms right on the stroke of half-time through recent signing Martyn Andrews.
