Tuesday's Premier Division action review

By David Watters

Sutton Coldfield Town suffered a thirteenth defeat in twenty matches to remain three points adrift at the bottom of the EVO-STIK League's Premier table following a last-gasp loss to Stafford Rangers, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The Royals had a dreadful start at Coles Lane yet again on Tuesday night when Danny Westwood put Rangers in front inside the opening minute. The visitors poured forward looking for a second and Sutton Coldfield had to make two goalline clearances before going up the other end and equalising through Danny O`Callaghan in the 17th minute.

Three minutes into the second period, Stafford re-took the lead through Kieran Morris and that looked as though it was going to be the winner until stoppage time when Rangers` keeper Bradley Caswell spilled a free-kick and Gurjit Singh poked home the leveller.

However, just 60 seconds later, Kieren Westwood popped up to make it 3-2 with literally the last kick of the game.
