Vikings sign Armthorpe midfielder

Midfielder James Walker has signed for Goole AFC from Northern Counties East League Premier Division side Armthorpe Welfare.

Walker has also previously played for Staveley Miners Welfare, Frickley Athletic and Brigg Town. The midfielder joined the Evo-Stik NPL First Division North Vikings on Friday.

He's previously enjoyed three spells with Armthorpe, rejoining the club in 2008 after a spell at Brodsworth Welfare and becoming one of the longest serving players there before transferring to Staveley in March 2012. He moved on to Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division Frickley in October before re-joining Armthorpe for a third time last month.
