Weather threatens weekend programme

By James Gordon

The snowy weather is to impact the EVO-STIK League programme this weekend, with some games already called off.

Ramsbottom United’s big FA Trophy clash with AFC Fylde has already fallen victim to the weather, as have the respective games at Radcliffe, Glossop North End and Stalybridge Celtic.

Rammy have already re-scheduled the game for Tuesday night (7.45pm kick-off).

Due to the exceptional circumstances of very low temperatures and severe wintry weather across the country, the league has agreed pitch inspection procedures and these have been distributed to clubs.

Here are the confirmed games affected, either postponed or requiring Saturday morning inspections, as of 11am on Saturday.
