Curzon Ashton made it six wins from six games on Wednesday night at new boys Padiham in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League's First Division North, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.
Padiham had won only once since gaining promotion from the North West Counties League at the end of last season, and fell behind to a 23rd minute Matty Warburton effort. But Jack Overson equalised nine minutes later, only for Chris Rowney to take Curzon into half-time 2-1 up with a 44th minute effort.
Chris McDonagh added Curzon's third on 65 minutes and 13 minutes from time Nick Haughton completed what in the end was a comfortable victory for the Tamesiders.
