The Blues, who've successfully staged a number of internationals from friendlies to UEFA youth qualifiers over the last three seasons, are set to host England versus South Africa U18s on Monday 4 September.
Announced on Wednesday, the friendly will see the next generation of England stars continuing their preparations in the build-up to October's FIFA U17 World Cup in India. Managed by Steve Cooper, the Young Lions are travelling to Shrewsbury for a warm-up match against Brazil three days before the 7pm kick-off in Staffordshire.
As well as hosting Romania versus Slovenia and Slovenia versus Norway last season, Harrison Park is no stranger to England internationals with the Blues now planning for their fourth in the last two seasons. In February 2017, Dan Micciche’s crop of U16s played Spain in front of an impressive 2,132-strong crowd.
Leek Town chairman Jon Eeles hailed the Football Association's decision to choose their home again as a ringing endorsement of the set-up at the EVO-STIK League South club.
The Blues chairman said: “The club are once again very honoured to assist the FA in hosting this game. It speaks volumes about our volunteer base and fans that the FA have such confidence to choose at Harrison Park. This is a great opportunity for the local community to visit the club and watch a young England side play."
Excited officials also suggested a possible name change on Twitter after the fixture was confirmed: @leektown tweeting: "With the number of England games we have staged perhaps HP should now take the title 'The Wembley of the North' #WEARELEEK"
Admission to the game has been set at £3 for adults and £1.50 for children and concessions. For more information, including discounted group tickets and bookings and a special complimentary offer of tickets for FA Charter Standard clubs, visit the club's website. Tickets, which will be available for collection on the day, can be purchased via email at: leektown@hotmail.com.
