Widnes announce double signing

Widnes have announced the signings of Alex McQuade and Ryan Jennings.

McQuade, 27, is a central defender and had previously played in LeagueOne with MK Dons. He has since had spells with Guiseley, Hyde United, Warrington Town and Farsley Celtic.

Jennings, 24, began his career at Stockport Country before moving to Wigan Athletic in 2012, making his senior debut in a League Cup fixture against Bury.

He has also appeared for Cheltenham Town and Grimsby Town.

Both players join from BetVictor Northern Premier League Division side Buxton and made their full debuts in Saturday's game against Mossley.
