Winger makes early return

Flying winger Steve Spriggs is returning to King's Lynn Town two weeks after moving to Boston United.

The 24-year-old left the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Linnets at the start of the month to join the Conference North outfit. But the thisislincolnshire website is reporting that after playing 45 minutes of Tuesday's 7-1 defeat to Altrincham Spriggs requested to leave the Jakemans Stadium and return to The Walks.

Spriggs made 129 appearances and scored 63 times for the Evo-Stik NPL First Division South Linnets.
