Yeltz appeal to snow busters

Halesowen Town are appealing for supporters to grab their shovels and brushes to help clear their Evo-Stik Northern Premier League ground of tons of snow and ice.

The Yeltz are determined to see their Easter Saturday game against Brigg Town in Evo-Stik NPL First Division South go ahead and are urging fans to turn up at the Grove between 12 and 5pm on Thursday and again on Good Friday between 11am and 5pm.

Spokesman Paul Guest said: "We need as many bodies as possible with snow shovels and brushes to make this possible. As an incentive hot drinks will be on offer to keep everybody warm while moving the snow."
