Yeltz hosting charity collection for Christmas

Halesowen Town are urging their fans to donate to a local foodbank on Saturday when they host EVO-STIK Northern Premier League leaders Skelmersdale United.

The Yeltz announced on Tuesday that ahead of Christmas 2014, the Friends of the Grove will be collecting for the Black Country Foodbank which is based in Halesowen. Supporters should drop off their donations at the James Grove Lounge before they are taken away at 5pm for distribution.

Yeltz spokesman Paul Guest is hoping the big crowd expected for the Premier Division clash will support the club's efforts.

Guest said: "Most foodbanks offer immediate and short term support to vulnerable individuals and families and we encourage all Yeltz fans to take part."
