Brigg Town

Brigg Town manager Mick Gray has returned to his former club Louth to sign teenage winger Elliott Broughton.

The Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Zebras announced the 18-year-old's capture from the Northern Counties East outfit on Wednesday.

The skilful attacker joined Louth in January 2011 from Grimsby side Humberston Coach House and quickly established himself in the first team, playing for a time under under Gray before the manager's switch to Evo-Stik NPL First Division South Brigg.

Broughton had made 18 appearances for his former club so far this season, scoring three goals. A Brigg spokesman said: "Everyone at Brigg would like to welcome Elliot to the Hawthorns."
