Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Brigg Town have announced that Premier League new boys Hull City have agreed to send a side to the Hawthorns to warm up for the new season.

The delighted First Division South outfit say Mick Gray's men are looking forward to testing themeselves against the Tigers on Saturday July 20 after they agreed to the friendly and promised to send a 'strong side' over the Humber.

Admission prices for the fixture will be confirmed shortly. Anyone interested in sponsoring the match and match ball for the fixture should contact Matt Jones on 07415 068996.

Brigg have now announced a total of eight preseason friendlies. Apart from the match against Hull, two other prestigious clashes against Scunthorpe on 6 July and Grimsby Town on on 16 July have also been confirmed.

Brigg Town are also heading south on a mini-tour this summer, visiting Essex to play two matches as part of the club's pre season preparations.

The Zebras will face Isthmian Premier Division side Grays Athletic on Saturday 13 July at the Rush Green Stadium in Romford. The clash promises to be a stern test for Brigg. Grays have just won promotion from Division 1 North of the Ryman League after winning the title with an incredible 102 points. Following an overnight stay in London, the Zebras kick off the following day, July 14, against Essex side Haroldhill FC.
