All aboard for new travel deal

Even more players and officials from Grantham Town will be ferried to fixtures with Sleafordian Coaches this season after the expansion of their relationship as the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League club's official travel partners.

"Extremely pleased" Gingerbreads officials announced on Wednesday that the company will be putting on a dedicated service to transport players at their new academy to and from the Meres as well as continuing to meet the travel needs of the first team in the EVO-STIK NPL's top flight.

Sleafordian's Mark Broughton, pictured alongside Grantham director Pete Railton and Dick Short, said: “We are delighted to continue our excellent relationship with The Gingerbreads and look forward to working with Alex [Cross] and his team in the academy to assist in playing a small part in what will hopefully lead to the next generation of Grantham Town players progressing to the first team.”

Gingerbreads director Sophie Cope said: “It’s brilliant that Sleafordian have been able to accommodate such a service for the Academy. We’re proud of our relationship and look forward to it continuing in the years to come.”
