Andy Scarisbrick makes Bootle return

Scarisbrick will return to the club he enjoyed a short spell at during the 2022/23 campaign, prior to his step up to the Northern Premier League with Marine.

He began last season with Warrington Rylands - working alongside Bootle manager Dave McNabb - before arriving at the Berry Street Garage Stadium in September.

However, his time at the club was cut short after a seven-day notice of approach by Marine.

He went on to make 18 appearances for the Merseyside-based club but failed to agree new terms following the conclusion of the season.

Also joining Scarisbrick at Bootle for the 2023/24 campaign will be forward Tom Peterson.

Last season's top scorer made 35 appearances in all competitions, netting 14 times.
