Bootle confirm resignation of Ste McNulty

Bootle have announced manager Steve McNulty has left the club after seven months in charge.

He took the reins in August 2022, having previously been a player-coach at National League North side Chester. His first game in charge was a defeat in the FA Cup against Congleton Town.

McNulty leaves Bootle in 14th place in Division One West. His last game in charge was a defeat against Runcorn Linnets on penalties in the Liverpool Senior Cup Semi-Finals.

The Bucks said in a statement: “We would like to thank Ste for his efforts in charge of the club and we wish him well for the future.

“We will make a further announcement in due course.”
