A Bulgarian Non-League team is inviting the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League’s clubs to send a side out to Eastern Europe to give them a game.

Sofia Nomads are looking for opposition during the current season or next summer and the expat based club say they can arrange cheap travel and accommodation as well as discounts at bars and restaurants in the Balkan nation’s capital city.

Sofia Nomads use the same training base as the Bulgarian national team and have already played a number of lower league British teams in recent years including Farleigh Rovers, Weirside Rangers and Glendale Rovers.

The club’s President Rado Velinov says they now want to test themselves against tougher opponents from the Evo-Stik NPL.

"We are looking to invite a club from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League on a football tour this season or next year to Sofia where we can have a lot of fun and play against them," he said.

"The Balkans are already a cheap destination and I can organise a tour and holiday. Our previous guests from the UK have had a fantastic time at reasonable prices and we’d appreciate it if any Evo-Stik League Northern Premier clubs fancy a few games while enjoying a great tour."
