True Blues hail strength in numbers

Leek Town

Leek Town's newly formed supporters club is going from strength to strength since its formation during the close season.

Membership of the Evo-Stik NPL First Division South club's 'True Blues' is now approaching the 100 mark says the group's chairman Mark Brough who believes they’ll pass that milestone in the near future.

Since its formation, the True Blues have received encouraging support from small businesses in and around the town and to date travelling supporters have commissioned three flags sponsored by local businesses.

Brough says the organisation provides a range of benefits for members as well as the football club itself.

Membership costs £10 for Adults and £7 for concessions. Supporters who join receive a Leek Town scarf and a printed membership card which also includes a fixture list plus ten per cent discounts in Leek’s club shop.

The shop at Harrison Park has just been given a makeover and is now stocking a completely new range of branded clothing in association with Errea and kitlocker.com as well as variety of club merchandise including badges, scarves, hats, ties, pennants, mugs, pens, books and programmes.

On top of that, member fans are also entitled to 50p off the price of a pint in the hour leading up to kick off for home games in the Blues Bar and a further ten per cent discount on travel to away games organised by the True Blues.
