Burnley's Moss makes Lancaster bow

Lancaster City handed a debut to central defender Dan Moss, on loan from Burnley, at the weekend.

Moss, 18, arrived at The Giant Axe on a work experience loan and started the EVO-STIK League Premier Division game at Hyde United, which the Dolly Blues won 2-1.

Centre-back has been a problem area for boss Mark Fell, with a long term injury to Ben Hudson and Steve Williams deciding to take a break from the game. Glenn Steel is also missing for the next two games.

Moss has featured for the Under 23 and Under 18 sides at Turf Moor.
