The Evo-Stik Northern Premier League is stepping up its support for the latest campaign to stamp out racism which aims to make it easier than ever to tackle abuse.

The Football Association and anti-racism charity Kick It Out teamed up in March to launch the new 'Report IT' campaign and the Evo-Stik NPL is urging all 68 clubs to help spread the word by showing four specially made short films on their official websites detailing what to do when confronted by racism in football and how to quickly report incidents.

The films, available to view on the websites of the league and governing body since the launch of the campaign, are being distributed widely across professional and grassroots football for use. They are all subtitled and information booklets explaining each one can also be downloaded for free.

Narrated by former England stars Graeme Le Saux and Dion Dublin, they bring to life the animations of Paul ‘You Are the Ref’ Trevillion. Kick It Out has also released a free phone app, pictured, to make reporting discrimination easier as part of their latest equality and inclusion campaign.

Le Saux said: "When discrimination takes place at any level of the game, we need to ensure that we can take positive action, and the best means of ensuring that is to encourage players and supporters to report it.

"These films will help explain to players and supporters both the importance of reporting discrimination and highlight the many ways in which they can do so."
