Coleshill Town welcome back Evans

Coleshill Town have confirmed the signing of Halesowen Town captain Rob Evans.

Evans has been with Halesowen since 2019 and made 114 Yeltz appearances, helping the club secure promotion last season via the Pitching In NPL Midlands Division play-offs.

Now Evans will return to his former club as the Colemen look to mount a promotion charge in 2023/24, having secured a top-five berth during the previous campaign.

On his departure, Yeltz boss Paul Smith said: "Rob has been an unbelievable player and friend to me personally for five years, and Halesowen for four.

"We’ve made some brilliant memories, and what a way for him to bow out with promotion.''
