EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Warrington Town are bringing Premier League football to local primary schools as part of their growing partnership with Everton in the Community.

The First Division North's Wire announced the launch of a new initiative to encourage youngsters to participate in sport and lead healthy lifestyles on Friday.

The first of a total of 10 schools in the Penketh, Great Sankey and Chapelford areas has already signed up for the community initiative which will see qualified coaches from Everton in the Community providing free coaching sessions for all years at the primary schools.

Junior season tickets for free admission to the Wire's home games will be distributed via the schools and participants will be invited to a coaching day at Warrington Town.

Youngsters will also be invited to Everton's Finch Farm Premier League training facility for a day out and their families will be able to take advantage of discounted family tickets to Everton's home games.

Everton in the Community's coaches will also be working alongside Warrington Town at their popular half-term football camps this season, pictured.

A delighted Warrington Town chairman Toby Macormac said: "It’s a giant step on the club’s community path and its fantastic for us to be in partnership with a Premier League club and one of which prides itself in the community aspect of football.

"We’re looking for this partnership to cover all the primary schools in Warrington over time and then move onto other projects as the partnership grows with Everton in the Community."
