Hot-shot is just like George Best!

Halesowen Town's Iyseden Christie is under the spotlight on the BBC Sport website after the hot-shot became the first player in years to score an FA Cup double hat-trick.

Christie's exploits secured the Premier Division club's place in Saturday's FA Cup Third Qualifying Round and a trip to Guiseley in a 7-1 win against Ellistown & Ibstock United.

In the build-up to this weekend's penultimate qualifying round, the 37-year-old much-travelled striker, pictured, was singled out in the special feature after his feat two weeks ago brought back memories of George Best grabbing six in a FA Cup Fifth-Round win for Manchester United against Northampton 44 years ago.

The former Mansfield Town and Leyton Orient frontman, who turns 38 next month, told the BBC: "Everything that came my way ended up going in. I scored with my head, left foot and right foot, so it was the perfect hat-trick, except it happened twice!"

Halesowen Town manager John Hill also features in the article after the Yeltz made national headlines in the last round and he is delighted with the media attention the club is still enjoying.

Hill said: "Iyseden had scored three by half-time and when he went into the dressing room he looked at me and said 'don't take me off boss'. At that stage I reckon he was thinking about a double hat-trick.

"It is good because it is special for him, and it has brought some great publicity to the club. Every now and then people just need a reminder of how great the competition is and Iyseden scoring six goals at 37 does that."
