The former Lincoln City midfielder told supporters he was delighted to agree a new deal ahead of the busy Christmas programme following his impressive start to the season driving the club up the EVO-STIK League's Premier Division table.
Wright, pictured, signed a contract on Monday to put the smiles back on the faces of supporters at the Meres after Saturday's shock 1-0 defeat at home to Buxton in the top flight.
Wright told fans he was looking forward to carrying on his trademark goal celebrations and couldn't have been happier to sign for manager Adam Stevens with the Gingerbreads in third spot and at home to Ashton United on Saturday.
He said: "I'm loving my time here, we're a really great group. Everything is perfect at the moment. Football is all about winning and to that we have to score. Whoever it is who scores, I'm going to enjoy it!"
Stevens was also delighted to get the contract signed and in a club statement added: "We've been discussing it for a few weeks and to get it sealed ahead of the busy Christmas period, is an additional boost to everyone."
