Clarke Greaves returns to Stocksbridge Park Steels

Stocksbridge Park Steels have announced the re-signing of versatile midfielder/forward Clarke Greaves.

Greaves has been at the Steels for the last two seasons, including the Covid-19-curtailed 2020/21 season.

He previously played for Northern Counties East League Premier Division outfit Maltby Main.

He was due to move to America to join a college programme, but unfortunately a cruciate ligament injury stopped that from happening.

Greaves spent last season undergoing rehabilitation at the South Yorkshire-based club, featuring for their reserves side towards the end of the campaign.

Now, however, he will rejoin the club’s first team as he edges closer to a return to full fitness ahead of the 2022/23 season.
