Cleethorpes reinforce back line

Cleethorpes Town have announced the signing of centre back James Williamson from Grantham Town.

Williamson, 26, made 34 appearances for the Gingerbreads last season, scoring once in a 4-1 defeat away to South Shields.

The defender boasts a wealth of experience in the Northern Premier League, having played at Tadcaster Albion, Bridlington Town, Matlock Town and Scarborough Athletic.

A strong and athletic defender, Cleethorpes will hope that their new addition can reinforce their defensive structure for the the 2022/23 season.
