A Spireites youth product, Duhameau has been with both Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United before joining the now National League side at the age of 15.
He made his first team debut in their 3-1 defeat to Coalville Town on Tuesday night and has also scored 10 times for Chesterfield’s academy side.
“He’s a really exciting prospect and has been scoring loads of goals,” said Matlock manager Martin Carruthers.
“The opportunity came to get him in on loan, and it was one we couldn’t miss.”
In other news, the Gladiators have extended the loan of defender Jaz Goundry from Grimsby Town, while Akeem Hinds has left to join fellow Northern Premier League side Stafford Rangers following a seven-day notice of approach.
