A popular figure at Ingfield while skippering the club to their great escape in EVO-STIK NPL First Division North last season, Frost, pictured, returned to replace Nick Guest after he re-joined Hemsworth last week having had a change of heart.
Ossett Town manager Grant Black brought the former Ossett Albion, Spennymoor Town and Shaw Lane hot-shot back to 4G Voice & Data Stadium after putting in seven days notice for him after he changed his mind about his return to the Ducks on the eve of the new season.
Frost said: “After my departure from Shaw lane there was only one club I would have wanted to sign back to. The back end of last season was one of the most enjoyable parts of my career, it was a little different fighting for relegation battle but one I really enjoyed and obviously we succeeded."

He added: "I should never have moved on and should have showed some loyalty but I suppose we live and learn from our mistakes. I am delighted to have signed and hope to be involved this weekend, but seeing the result in midweek I will have a fight on my hand!”
