Fireworks night before away day

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Mickleover Sports are getting ready to host a 'fireworks extravaganza’ for Bonfire Night.

Sports, who are away at Ashton United in the EVO-STIK NPL's top flight on Saturday 5 November, are bringing in fairground rides for kids the night before and even hosting a mini-fireworks display for younger children at 6.15pm before the main event at Station Road kicks off at 8pm.

With no local display at Mareaton this year, club officials say they are hoping a big crowd will turn out for the community event which opens with the fairground for younger fans at 5pm.

John McGrath takes his seventh-placed Sports side to Grantham Town in the EVO-STIK NPL's top flight on Saturday.
