Former skipper returns as coach

Coalville Town

Defender Cameron Stuart has ended his brief stay at Evo-Stik Northern Premier League rivals Belper Town to return to Coalville Town as a coach.

The popular full-back, pictured, switched to Christchurch Meadow in the middle of December after six trophy laden years at the Ravens. Last season's supporters’ player of the year at Owen Street, the 29-year-old started out at York City before moving to Aston Villa for £50,000 as a 17-year old.

After injury cut short his professional career and following a brief stint at Atherstone Town, the talented left-back first joined First Division South Coalville. The 29-year-old went on to score 80 times in 259 appearances for the Ravens and was made club captain by manager Adam Stevens in 2012.
