Highly-rated Gresley FC defender Jordi Gough left the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League on Tuesday to sign for Conference North outfit Solihull Moors.
The Moatmen say the 22-year-old left-back, pictured, leaves the First Division South's Derbyshire club with the best wishes of Gresley manager Martin Rowe after four successful seasons.
Rowe said: "Jordi has been the best player at the club for the last few seasons and although I'm sorry to see him go, the step up to Conference North is a good move for him. I wish him all the best at his new club."
Gough made 159 appearances for Gresley, scoring 17 goals since joining the club in 2009 following the demise of former Midland Alliance side Stapenhill FC. Gough, who also spent a year at Derby County as a schoolboy, made the left back slot his own in recent times and also impressed further forward on the wing and in central midfield.
During his time at the Moat Ground, Gough twice won the Supporters' Player of the Year accolade and for the last three campaigns was voted Players' Player of the Year.
