Enfield claimed the cup back then with a 3-0 win at Maine Road following a 0-0 draw at Wembley in front of 75,000 fans seven days earlier on Saturday 22 April 1967.
After losing 3-2 last season at Stormy Corner to the successors of the original Enfield in the first match, EVO-STIK League North Skem are hoping plenty of fans will head south with them from Lancashire to the Isthmian League club's Queen Elizabeth II Stadium to celebrate two of the biggest days in their history.
The games saw a mass exodus from the town to Wembley and Maine Road and the return of many of the players for last year's reunion when the clubs were reunited. Skem, coached by Liverpool legend Ian St John on their route to the final, went on to lift the FA Amateur Cup four years later when they beat Dagenham at Wembley in 1971.
The Towners, established by their fans in 2001, are expecting a bumper turnout out at Donkey Lane and promising a warm welcome for supporters who make the trip to see Alan Rogers and his side bid for their first win over their old foes.
