As part of a major restucturing exercise by the pair, Scott Campbell and Andy Hill have arrived at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium to succeed John Hughes and Andy Harrison who've been thanked by club officials for their services after leaving last week.
UEFA B coach Campbell joins after a spell as manager at AFC Darwen having previously been the first team coach at Atherton Collieries. Former pro keeper Hill was on the books of Manchester City and Preston and was also part of the coaching team at Nelson. He is also the head of elite sport at Accrington College.
Fell and Fildes look to have lost the services of former FC United of Manchester skipper Stott for the remainder of the EVO-STIK NPL First Division North season after he was ruled out for up to six months with a torn rotator cuff injury.
The midfielder, pictured, was hurt late in the club's 3-1 defeat at home to Colwyn Bay at the end of September. Signed in the summer, the 26-year-old former Burnley and Preston player has been receiving specialist treatment and the joint bosses are hoping an MRI scan next week will give a clearer indication on the expected length of his lay-off.
