The two clubs already enjoy a close relationship after playing in numerous matches at Shawe View over the years and officials at the EVO-STIK League North club hailed their upcoming date with United's U18s on Tuesday 14 November as "fabulous" news in a statement on Monday.
The last time the clubs met two years ago a goal by a certain Marcus Rashford separated the sides in front of a crowd of over 500 and another big gate is expected for the 7.30pm kick-off at the First Point Shawe View Stadium.
Trafford's links with United run deep. United’s youth team under the management of Paul McGuinness have trained at Shawe View on many occasions and youth development officer Dave Bushell is a vice-president and great friend of Trafford.
Former Hyde United, Crewe and Altrincham legend Colin Little is also number two to United's U18s head coach Kieran Mckenna while current reserves keeper Kieran O'Hara also spent some time on loan at the EVO-STIK League club in 2013-14.
Admission on the night is priced at £5 for adults, £3 for senior citizens and concessions and £1 for U16s.
