Matlock Town legends Tom, Mick and Nick Fenoughty have been celebrating again nearly four decades after winning the FA Trophy with the EVO-STIK League’s Gladiators.
The Fenoughty brothers are pictured with other members of their team after taking second place the 2014 Matlock Town Golf Day. Staged last week at Matlock Golf Club, more than 20 teams entered the annual summer tournament for fans, players, officials and sponsors from the Autoworld Arena which was won by Nigel Roger’s team.
The brothers and their teammates helped the Premier Division club to triumph in the Trophy at Wembley in 1975. In the following season, the Gladiators reached the FA Cup Third Round after Tom Fenoughty took over as manager from Peter Swan, beating then Third Division leaders Mansfield Town along the way.
A Gladiators spokesman said: "Matlock Town FC would like to thank everybody who attended our annual golf day event which for another year was a huge success and raised a substantial amount of money for the club."
