Moore shakes up his touchline team

Colwyn Bay boss Paul Moore has named Phil Hadland as his new number two at the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's Seagulls.

The former Reading, Rochdale, Leyton Orient, Carlisle United, Brighton, Darlington and Colchester midfielder, 35, was previously in charge of training and player fitness before stepping up on Tuesday.

Hadland, pictured left, arrived at Llanelian Rd in May along with fellow coach Dave Hughes as part of former Hull City and Portsmouth star Moore's management team. As a result of the shake-up, Hughes will now concentrate on recruitment and opposition analysis.

Moore has also been busy in the transfer market this week after reaching an agreement with Championship outfit Oldham Athletic to sign former Wales U17 winger Danny Byrnes on loan.

The 19-year-old, who was in the Wales squad which competed in an elite round of the European U17 Championship in Russia in 2014 while scoring goals for Athletic's youth team, recently signed a second 12 month professional contract.

Moore, who hopes his international clearance comes through in time to play him against EVO-STIK NPL First Division North leaders Bamber Bridge on Saturday, said: “He is pacy winger or striker and we’ll have him initially on a month’s loan.”
