New midfielder for Shepshed Dynamo

Experienced midfielder Kyle Dixon has joined Shepshed Dynamo.

The 28-year-od links up with the club after spending the second half of last season in the Pitching In NPL East Division with Carlton Town, where he made 19 appearances.

Dixon started his career with Notts County’s academy, going on to make one senior appearance for the club before a loan and eventual permanent move to Boston United.

Spells at Coalville Town, Ilkeston Town and Basford United followed, before the midfielder moved to Belper Town.

His goal in the play-off semi-finals against Stamford two seasons ago helped the Nailers on their way to Step 3 football.

Dixon becomes Dynamo's second summer signing, with young forward Kieran Cummings also agreeing terms ahead of the 2023/24 season.
