Sutton Coldfield Town manager Neil Tooth is looking for a new assistant following the departure of Ross Thorpe from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League's Royals.
But Tooth says he's in no hurry to replace Thorpe, pictured, after they decided to part company last Friday and would rather wait if necessary to make sure the right appointment is made at the First Division South club.
The Royals manager said: "Ross has been fantastic for me but we had a chat last week and decided it was probably best if we parted. We remain mates and I'm sure Ross will go onto manage in his own right. I'd like to bring in someone who knows the level and has an eye for a player.
"I'll be interested to see who fancies it as it's a fantastic job at a brilliant club. I enjoyed every minute of my seven years as an assistant manager and I learnt so much. I'm quite excited about the prospect of some new ideas but I'm in no rush as I'm lucky to have a very good team behind me. You never know, one of them might fancy a go and I'll never rule them out."
