Podcast quartet are up for the cup!

By David Watters

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League chairman Mark Harris is one of four guests on Friday's EVO-STIK NPL Show Extra with more than a passing interest in this weekend's FA Cup action.

As well Harris, who is also the chairman of Witton Albion who head to FC United of Manchester, the preview podcast features Rushall Olympic's vice chairman Nick Allen, Workington's secretary Alec Graham and Laura Flint, the social media officer at Salford City.

Allen is heading to Corby Town with Olympic in the FA Cup's Second Qualifying Round while Graham is preparing for Workington to host Harrogate Town. Flint is in the same boat at the Ammies who welcome Curzon Ashton to Moor Lane in one of 28 ties this weekend featuring EVO-STIK NPL clubs.

With plenty of action in the EVO-STIK NPL this weekend involving the clubs already out of the cup, the NPL Facebook Group's James Heyes also joins host Ben Hughes to run the rule over the fixtures.

Produced as always by the team behind FCUM Radio, the NPL Show Extra is a spin-off of the monthly EVO-STIK NPL Show which returned for the third successive season in July. The Northern Premier League’s fans, players and officials are also being spoiled for choice this season with the launch of a third new podcast, the EVO-STIK NPL Division One Show.

As its name suggests the new monthly show focuses on the 44 clubs fighting it out for survival and promotion to the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's top flight and is available once a month alongside the monthly EVO-STIK NPL Show.

Sponsored for the second season running by the NPL's title sponsors EVO-STIK, all three of the official podcasts for the league's fans, players and officials are available on both iTunes and Audioboom and since the start of this season, directly via their own button on the home page.
