Premier Division preview: Shields host Dolly Blues, managerless Rylands on the road

Having re-claimed top spot in midweek following Hyde United’s draw away at Belper Town, leaders South Shields will welcome Lancaster City to the 1st Cloud Arena.

It won’t be the easiest of tasks, with the Dolly Blues currently on a five-game unbeaten run as they look to mount a push for the top half.

Elsewhere, Hyde welcome managerless Warrington Rylands to the Project Solar Stadium.

The Blues have endured a difficult time over the last week, with key midfielder Jak McCourt leaving the club to join Buxton before former boss Jody Banim resigned from his post at Gorsey Lane.

In the pick of the other action, having seen their seven-game unbeaten run ended by Radcliffe in midweek, Stalybridge Celtic will look to get back on track away at promotion-chasing Bamber Bridge.

Matlock Town host an FC United of Manchester side that could move into the play-off spots with a win, while the division’s bottom two collide as Liversedge and Belper Town prepare to lock horns at the Clayborn Ground.
