Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Harrogate Railway Athletic have signed midfielder Sam Jones on loan from Conference North neighbours Harrogate Town.
The First Division North's Rail announced on Thursday that they'd added the 18-year-old to the ranks of manager Billy Miller's squad less than a week into the new campaign.
The former Doncaster Rovers star has enjoyed an impressive pre-season at Town and has temporarily joined the set-up at Stadium View to get more game time under his belt.
Jones, who could feature in Saturday’s visit to Cammell Laird before Railway welcome Wakefield on Bank Holiday Monday, joins two other Town players in Miller's plans as Harrogate's twin clubs continue working together with striker Paul Beesley and keeper Peter Crook also currently playing for him in the Evo-Stik NPL.
