Reassurances will be sought

The EVO-STIK Northern Premier League will seek reassurances from Ilkeston FC on fulfilling the club's remaining games after their failure to play at Workington on Saturday in the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Premier Division.

They will be sought in the interests of member clubs and the competition's integrity after Ilkeston FC asked for their EVO-STIK NPL Premier Division fixture at Borough Park to be postponed on Saturday morning after confirming they were unable to field a side in Cumbria.

The Robins, who have seven remaining fixtures of the 2016-17 season to play, apologised for the disruption caused and no further statement will be made by the EVO-STIK NPL on this matter at this time.
