Seating sale at Millers

Carlton Town are hoping to sell a hundred spare seats left over from a recent refurbishment to their fellow Evo-Stik Northern Premier League clubs.

Following the completion of work on their new corporate suite and home of their new radio station, Millers Radio, the First Division South club’s officials are selling the top quality second hand chairs for £5 each on a first come first served basis.

Carlton Town Chairman Mick Garton said: “This is top quality seating and the groundsman tells me these seats are worth over £40 each new. They are in excellent condition and really are a bargain. We bought a bulk lot to refurbish our sports bar but with plans to extend the bar now on hold due to financial issues, we have replaced the existing seating and around 100 remain."

Garton added: "It will help to put a lot of money back in our ground improvement kitty if we can sell them and also provides a great opportunity for a club or clubs to refurbish their own bar or boardroom for a relatively small amount."
