Sinnott saves seven lives

Jordan Sinnott has saved the lives of seven people aged between 20 and 50 after his organs were donated following his tragic death earlier this year.

The Matlock Town midfielder had spoken to his family of his desire to be a donor if anything happened to him, and soldiers and other burns victims are also benefiting from skin grafts created after his donation.

His brother Tom told The Mirror: “He loved giving and even after he’s passed he managed to do that. At least his heart is still beating.”

More than 1,000 football shirts have been donated, either signed or with Sinnott’s name on the back or both, from around the world following an appeal in his memory.

The shirts will be auctioned to raise money for Sport Relief.
