The EVO-STIK League North club's temporary groundshare with the EVO-STIK League Premier Division's Mariners was confirmed on Monday after Skem were locked out of their ground by its owners on Friday.
Skem were already to due to leave the Uretek Stadium next month after failing to agree a renewed lease with owner Chequer Properties, having agreed a groundshare deal until the end of the 2017-18 season at the Valerie Park home of EVO-STIK League North rivals Prescot Cables.
Skem, who've also switched their first round Liverpool Senior Cup clash with Burscough on Tuesday night to Victoria Park, will kick off in Crosby against Radcliffe Borough on Saturday 28 October and Mossley on Saturday 4 November after the Mariners rode to their rescue over the weekend.
"A huge thanks to our friends and neighbours Marine AFC for the coming to our aid with the superb gesture of offering the Marine Travel Arena stadium for us to host our next two EVO-STIK North home games against Radcliffe on Saturday 28 October and Mossley on Saturday 4 November," Skem told their fans in a club statement.
"The Mariners offer comes after 'our' Uretek Stadium was seized late last week ahead of what became a successful trip to Tadcaster Albion on Saturday. Hopefully, our fans will follow us to the MTA over the next two weekends and maybe even a few Mariners who are unable to attend their away games."
