Striking choices on final day of poll!

By David Watters

The Northern Premier League's top strikers over the last fifty years are in the spotlight over the final 24 hours of voting for the competition's top 100 players and star team of all time!

After four weeks of voting to celebrate the NPL's historic fiftieth anniversary season in 2017-18, the online public poll is set to close at a minute to midnight on Friday 22 December.

The latest 'pen pix' guide to help fans, players and officials cast their votes over the final hours focuses on the forwards among the 200 players who made the final shortlist from an original cast of more than 2,000 nominated by supporters since October.

As well as taking their place in the competition's hall of fame, the NPL50 legends chosen before the poll closes in time for Christmas will earn a place in the first book charting the Northern Premier League's proud history that is currently being written and is due out at the end of the season.
