Sunday's First Division South action review

By David Watters

Leek Town, knocked out of the Emirates FA Cup by lower league Deeping Rangers in midweek, suffered a 2-0 defeat in the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's First Division South at Romulus on Sunday, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The Roms recovered from last Saturday`s defeat at Kidsgrove Athletic, breaking the deadlock at Coles Lane with 15 minutes to go with a goal from Luke Keen.

And then, two minutes from time, Liam Holt ensured the points stayed at home with a second.

The win moved Romulus up to tenth spot – a place and a point behind their visitors in the early table.
