Worksop call for Massiah

Worksop Town (Prem) have announced the signing of 21 year old striker Massiah McDonald from Carlton Town.

The player was at Notts County and Alfreton Town as a youngster before joining Rainworth MW and then onto Carlton Town for the 2010/11 season.

He will be in the squad for the home game against Buxton on Wednesday night.

Worksop Town would like to thank Carlton Town Chairman Mike Garston and manager Les McJannett for allowing the deal to go through quickly and smoothly.

The good relationship between the clubs will continue with a pre-season game in 2012.

Former Premier League defender joins Clitheroe

Clitheroe (D1N) have bolstered their back line with the signing of former Blackburn Rovers defender Marlon Broomes.

Broomes joins following spells at Tranmere Rovers and Stockport County.

Sheehan gets international clearance

Witton Albion (D1N) have received international clearance to complete the signing of Anthony Sheehan from Colwyn Bay.

Sheehan was an integral part of the Seagulls consecutive promotions in the Evo-Stik NPL, and made his début on Saturday in the FA Cup win over Ossett Albion

Latvian defender joins Dabbers

Manager Jimmy Quinn has confirmed that Nantwich Town (Prem) have signed Latvian defender Aleksandrs Solovjovs from Cypriot side Atromitos Yeroskipou.

Solovjovs has Europa League experience from his time with FK Ventspils.

New Keeper For New Mills

New Mills (D1S) have signed goalkeeper James Coates from Bradford Park Avenue.

The 26-year old won caps at Under 17,Under 19 and Under 21 levels for Wales and has had spells at Northwich Victoria, Altrincham and Leigh RMI amongst others

Wire make Finley available for transfer

Warrington Town (D1N) have placed their talented teenage midfielder Sam Finley on the transfer list and are open to offers.

Explaining his decision to place 19-year-old Finley on the transfer list, Manager Joey Dunn said: " Despite the best efforts of the club Sam does not want to play for the club and wants to leave. So as a manager I will have to make the decisions that ensure the clubs integrity and progress going forward."

Finley joined Warrington on loan from Southport two seasons ago and was placed on contract last season after being viewed as a talent for the future.

Meace joins fellow ex-Magpies

Radcliffe Borough (D1N) have signed defender Nick Meace following his release from Chorley.

He joins former Magpies James Mullineux, Reece Kelly and Steve Burk at Stainton Park

Lancaster swoop for Swarbrick...

Lancaster City (D1N) have pulled off a coup by re-signing striker Dave Swarbrick from rivals AFC Fylde.

Swarbrick joined Fylde from the Dolly Blues in the summer, but found the travelling from his home in Barrow-in-Furness to be too much. The striker scored twice in his time at Kellamergh Park.

...but Fylde bring in Parker

AFC Fylde (D1N) have replaced Swarbrick with 29-year old Keigan Parker, who is well known in the Fylde coast area for his performances for Blackpool.

Parker joins after a brief spells at AFC Blackpool and Stockport County. He began his career at St. Johnstone before moving to England in 2004, also playing for Huddersfield Town, Oldham Athletic and Mansfield Town.

Tigers strengthen with former Leeds pair

Worksop Town (Prem) have brought in two more forwards after a slow start to the season.

19 year old striker Michael Whitwell has signed from Hyde United and 25 year old winger Nick Gray has signed from FC Halifax Town. Gray won both the First Division North and Premier Division while at The Shay.
