Ramsbottom United's U18s are leading the way at the Evo-Stik NPL First Division North club after their latest victory in the North West Youth Alliance.

The Rams won 3-0 away at Abbey Hey on Monday night to hold onto their one hundred per cent record and stay three points clear of Chester at the top of the league.

The U18s struggled before the break on Abbey Hey's 3G surface but found their stride in the second period to score three times and emerge as comfortable winners.

The U18s have played all their three previous outings so far away from home, winning 5-2 at Ashton Town, 5-2 at Stockport Georgians and 5-4 at Avroin their last match before Monday night's victory.

Ramsbottom's first team stars return to Evo-Stik NPL First Division North action tonight [Tuesday] when they welcome second placed Skelmersdale United to the Harry Williams Stadium. KO 7.45.
