Mickleover Sports moved into fifth place in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South table following a comprehensive 4-1 win at Market Drayton Town on Tuesday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Henry Sibenge gave the Derbyshire visitors a 10th minute but they were unable to add to that until seven minutes into the second period when ex-Burton Albion favourite Aaron Webster doubled their lead.

Martyn Davies did pull Drayton back into the game six minutes later before Simeon Oshoboke on 86 minutes and Zeph Thomas in stoppage time added late goals to put gloss on the scoreline.

In Tuesday's other game, a goal out of nothing just before half-time sent Bedworth United to a second defeat in four days and put them back in relegation trouble.

Visiting Rainworth Miners Welfare scored what proved to be the only goal of the game in the 40th minute when Sheridan Martinez was unable to hold an Ashley Longstaff shot. He appeared to have the ball under control when Jack Hawkins kicked it from his grasp to score. To rub salt in their wounds, the keeper was booked for his protests.
